Active Lifestyle Centre Computer Training
The Centre's Computer Team provides one-on-one computer, laptop or tablet training as well as computer seminars and support to the members and web related activities.

We have four public access machines. There is one training machine. We also have access to Macintosh for training in house.

The Computer Team provides a fully equipped hi-speed internet for the four public access computers for ay Centre Member use and one Computer member one-on-one training. We also provide FREE Wi-Fi access in all the key rooms of the Centre as well as help to members on computer issues.

Public Computers: Three Windows 7/Office 2010 equipped PC's with large LCD monitors for general Internet/email access. All four Public computers have local printing capabilities. Computers are equipped with a variety of input devices as well as Skype compatible camera.

Training Computer: The training computer allows either Windows 7, 8 or 10 training and also most versions of Office including Office 2010. Those wishing to to do may bring in their own laptop or netbook for training.

Macintosh training: can now be provided by the team in the centre.

Tablet training: iPad Air 2, Android and Surface tablets if person brings in their own tablet.

Sign up at the Centre for one-on-one instruction using our training PC's or your laptop. Lessons are $20.00 for 3 one hour sessions, or $8.00 for 1 hour. Sessions are free if you are a member of the Centre.

The instructor will tailor the tutoring to your specific needs.
